There are several free options out there, I personally prefer TunerPro, and for the reading/flashing of the ECU, HondaFlasher v3.3.0 is the last version that was free and open source. Additionally, you will need a Windows PC to run the tuning and ECU flashing software. This uses K-line communication protocol, which consists of one communication line (of very limited bandwidth) and power and ground wires, so you will need the appropriate adapters for this.
